ALLIGATORS OF SHARK RIVER
How might award-winning educational video and immersive game-like experience be combined to revolutionize STEM education?
Working with Emmy Award-winning director Patrick Green from Symbio Studios we created Alligators of Shark River, a science education app geared for elementary and middle school students.
The app is innovative and entertaining in that it combines exciting, broadcast quality video with engaging interactive activities that students can relate to and packaged in a style where students are leading the action. Using the app and online activities provides a blended high-tech and high-touch approach to inquiry-based education that reinforces learning and allows students to discover patterns and process for themselves.
My role included strategy, creative direction, illustration, UI and UX design.
